Abstract

Concrete production can be greatly enhanced by using industrial, agricultural, and thermoelectric plant residues.Additionally, their toxic properties make landfilling about these materials a source of environmental problems.Alccofine is an example of an ultrafine cementitious material produced at a much finer grain size than other cementitious materials like cement, fly ash, and rice husk ash.Alccofine had been demonstrated to improve the mechanical and durability properties of concrete at normal temperatures by expediting the hydration of cement particles.Several levels of Alccofine replacement are explored in this paper, to discover its strength characteristics.Alccofine was incorporated into concrete mixtures at 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% for grades M30 and M40.The compressive strength of specimens aged 7 as well as 28 days was measured. At 28 days, they were evaluated for split tensile strength and flexural strength.Adding Alccofine earlier to the mix leads to stronger results.
