Design and Virtual Experiment of Shunt Type Electromagnetic Vibration Seeding Apparatus for Rice Direct Seeding Machine

Abstract

The 2BD-8 self-propelled shunt type rice direct seeding machine is equipped with a shunt plate
according to the seeding amount. It has good working performance and high efficiency. Using
it for mechanized direct seeding rice production can achieve the purpose of saving labor, time,
energy and high yield. However, the machine has a large width, large running resistance, and
serious mud retention, and the machine is matched with the original rice transplanter head, so
the high cost is not conducive to popularization. Therefore, it has been improved and designed.
The eight-row machine is changed to a six-row machine to reduce the width of the whole
machine. It is used with a 6-horsepower walking tractor to reduce costs and is suitable for use
in southern small fields. This study also conducted a virtual test on the designed shunt
electromagnetic vibration seeding apparatus. The test results show that the force of the seed
when traveling on the seed plate is reasonable; the forward speed is 21.7mm/s ,which meets the
requirements of agronomy for the seeding speed; the throwing index of the seed on the seed
plate is 0.4 less than 1, so the seed slides on the seed plate. The virtual simulation test results
are basically consistent with the theoretical calculation results, and the design is reasonable.
