Abstract

The current study advocates a new technique for monitoring the power output of a hybrid power unit consisting of a wind and a renewable energy photovoltaic source, battery bench and variable charge. In the energy management strategy, the hybrid energy system is defined as a sliding nonlinear system with unknown parameters. An adaptive control strategy is then suggested to satisfy the full power requirement on a random basis under different conditions. The stability test is based on the standard function form of Lyapunov. This shows and discusses the effects of the simulation to prove the feasibility of the proposed solution for a traditional hybrid energy system.
