Abstract

In wireless sensor networks, data transmission consumes energy, which affects the useful life of the network. of guidance. The protocol plays a fundamental role in this system, the design of the routing protocol must take into account the power consumption in it to increase the useful life of the network. LEACH is one of the most popular force-efficient hierarchical routing protocols that has been modified in other protocols. The experimental results show that the comparative accuracy of the LEACH protocol is necessary to advance for an accurate selection of CH. Here, we will suggest a new version of LEACH protocol called ACO-ICH LEACH with an alternative implementation, which can be better than simple LEACH. To optimize the power consumption of intra-cluster and inter-cluster communication, we introduce an ACO (ant colony optimization algorithm) to decide on the effective path of force to transfer records to their CH nodes. Simulations show that our proposed protocol extends the useful life of the network by reducing power consumption.
