Abstract

Present studydescribes trend of seasonalaccumulation oflead in vegetable Spinacea oleraceaduring 2014-2017 from Bareilly.Lead was found beyond the limits of Indian standards. Comparison of the results of Lead from   different sitesexhibit its maximum valuein the vegetable, analysed along the highway (C. B. Ganj & Delhi-Lucknow highway) and lowest from the rural and semi urban areas( Pilibhit road University road and Besalpur road).  Annual metal data of Leadduring three years in Spinacea oleracea   showed no significant difference at P>0.05. On the contrary Lead value during the rains in Spinacea oleraceademonstrate significant difference with summer and winter.
