Abstract

The net power generated by solar photovoltaic (PV) module and the characteristic of its module depends on irradiance and temperature. Using a simulation tool, this study investigated how the properties of a Solar PV module change when the temperature and irradiance change. The basis of the research is LAB-VIEW mathematical modeling of the PV module. The design and analysis process has been carried out in two modes: offline mode and real-time simulation with the DAQ card. DAQ receives a real-time input from RPS and uses it to create an interface with lab-view, resulting in real-time changes in characteristics. The results achieved using the datasheet of an existing PV module on the market are comparable when employing either of these methods.
