Abstract

Digital video watermarking technology has gained global recognition as an important means of copyright enforcement as a result of the advancement of multimedia. This paper proposes a robust watermarking algorithm FAST-DCT (Features from Accelerated Segment Test - Discrete Cosine Transform). A video summary is created first. The Quick detector is then used to detect the feature regions using this summary. On the other hand, the watermark's confidentiality is improved by encrypting the watermark before embedding it in the video frames with the ChaCha20 Stream, which increases the watermark's security and power. Finally, Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) is used to embed the secrete bits into the host region. The proposed algorithm achieves strong imperceptibility and high resistance to various attacks, according to experimental results. The embedded video has a high Peak to Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR) and is of better quality. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieves good imperceptibility and high resistance against various attacks. The embedded video is of good quality with a high PSNR.
