Abstract

Homomorphic Cryptosystems play a critical role in protecting our data as it is being processed in a public setting. It's a type of encryption that allows particular types of computations to be performed on data, resulting in an encrypted result that, when decrypted, matches the results of operations performed on the original data. To share secret images over an unsecured channel, this paper proposes using the cryptographic Homomorphic (El-Gamal) algorithm and the Elliptic Curve. The proposed scheme enables shorter keys and better performance than schemes based on El-Gamal traditional Algorithm. It has a lower computation overhead in image decryption when compared to other additively Homomorphic methods. Elliptic curve parameters are selected to generate key masks using less time for encryption and decryption. Experimental results and analysis show that the proposed method has superior performance to El-Gamal traditional.
