Abstract

Health is always a matter of concern for people. Our food habits and lifestyle along with the use of pesticides in the crops has reversely affected the health irrespective of age. The number of diseases and patients has sharply increased over the years and a proper method to monitor them is the need of the hour. In this paper we are introducing a method to remotely monitor patients health parameters with critical health conditions who cannot always visit the hospital for their checkup, by a medical expert from a central server where all the parameters of the patients are to be stored. Here we have attempted to monitor the health parameters for a large number of patients simultaneously and through appropriate applications being prioritized by the criticality of the data and given proper assist from the medical practitioner from the server end appropriately .This can avoid major fatalities and provide a proper guidance to the patient. We are using a wireless sensor medium for taking the medical parameters of the patient, hence the patient shouldn’t necessarily be stationary or confined to a bed. The data transmission is happening through the NFC technology from the electrocardiogram device through proper assessment of the data from our mobile device. This helps to check the parameters and in case of criticality crossing the threshold it will send priority information to the central server demanding immediate action and additionally saving the data in the server for future record and reference.
