Abstract

The religious tourism plays an important role in tourism industry. Infact, the religious tourism sites not only visted by the pilgrims, the non-religious tourists also will visit the religious spots in India. There are many prominent religious tourism places are available in India. The prominent religious tourism places are: Tirupati, Mahabaleswr, kanakadurga temple, Krishna river, kavari river, prayagraj kumba mela and etc. It is evident to strengthen the economy by attracting more tourists and satisfying them in all aspects. As we know that the economic progression of the nation will depends up on the strengthening the special hindu religious occasions in India. Aim/purpose: The main aim of the research to investigate the tourist perception towards special hindu religious occasion. Design/Methodology/Approach: The structure questionnaire were used to collect the opinion from various respondents of tourist regarding perception towards special hindu religious occasion. The researcher has taken 400 sample size in this regard. Practical implications: The outcome of the research with respect to the opinion of tourist regarding special hindu religious occasion can be generalized to the whole part of the country. Social Implications: The outcome of the research will facilitate to understand the tourist perception and to strengthen the hindu religious special occasion in India. Orginality/Value : The present study has not been submitted to anywhere, the readers and researchers and economists will get clear insight about the research.
