Research on the Evaluation of Agricultural Product Logistics Development in A Province in Western China Based on the Entropy Grey Correlation Method

Abstract

Research on the evaluation of agricultural product logistics development in a province in
western China based on the entropy grey correlation method. Abstract: Select freight volume,
freight turnover, regional GDP of the year, annual gross output value of tertiary industry,
employment in transportation industry, fixed transportation industry Asset investment, savings
deposits of urban and rural residents, and the number of civilian trucks are used as the
evaluation research volume to analyze the development of agricultural product logistics in a
certain western province. According to the data analysis corresponding to the 2004-2015
evaluation research volume by the entropy method, it is found that the investment in fixed assets
in the transportation industry has the largest impact, and the employment number in the
transportation industry has the least effect which can be ignored; the gray correlation method is
used to separately determine the freight volume and freight turnover. The analysis of the
remaining five evaluation research quantities shows that the regional GDP has the highest
correlation and the transportation industry fixed asset investment has the lowest correlation.
Based on the calculation results of the entropy gray correlation method, corresponding
suggestions are made for the development of agricultural product logistics in a western
province.
