Abstract

In the present paper, an inverted equation of state (EOS) suggested by author having three adjustable parameters and is used to study the pressure dependence of compression of biofuels. The EOS has been applied successfully in fatty acid alkyl esters, biodiesels, and conventional diesels at ambient temperature. The computed results of compression in each biofuel have been found out to be in consistent with the experimental results. The minimum and maximum AARD % is found to be 0.001 in case of Soybean and 0.038 in case of Methyl palmitate, respectively.
