Abstract

Nanotechnology has become one of science and technology's fastest growing sectors. Nano fluid development was based on increased thermal and physical characteristics, including thermal construction, thermal diffusion, viscosity and thermal heat coefficients. This work aims to determine the general thermal transfer coefficient by a development and leadership of the convective heat transfer and fluid properties of a NANO fluid. In our experiment the NANO fluid is water and the fluid flows by parallel and counter-flow in compact heat exchangers at 4, 6 percent of the volume of AL2O3-water NANO fluid.

Method: Sonication approach with blend properties evaluation, mathematical modelling with CFD approach using ANSYS work bench to find the variation between practical and analytical.

Result: an approximate variation of 6% found with MFC coolant in both cases with good variation.
