Abstract

Patient safety is a hospital system that makes patient care safer, prevents injuries caused by misconduct or not taking the action that should be taken. Build culture Patient safety results from the effective interaction of three organizational elements, such as environmental structures and processes in the organization, workers attitudes and perceptions, and individual behavior. Quality service can be influenced by the number of medical personnel and the satisfaction of employees in a hospital. Good employee performance can reflect the level of job satisfaction. To determine the influence of employee job characteristics, rewards, work environment, and fellow employees on patient safety culture in a hospital. This research is a quantitative study with analytic survey design cross sectional study design using a questionnaire as the main instrument data collection. The population in this study was all employees at the Haji Makassar Regional General Hospital (RSUD). The most influential independent or independent variable is the relationship with management variable with a coefficient value of 0.382, which means that if the relationship variable with management increases by one point, the work safety culture variable will increase by 0.382 points. While the variable with the lowest influence is the job characteristics variable with a coefficient value of 0.511, which means that if the job characteristics variable increases by one point, the work safety culture variable will increase by 0.511 points. There is an effect of job characteristics on patient safety culture. The most influential independent or independent variable is the relationship with management, the least influencing variable is the job characteristics variable.
