Abstract

Nowadays, a swimming pool is not only a opulent facility but also a daily health aid for people to enhance mental, physical well-being and longevity. A swimming pool has several proven health benefits, but it also presents numerous risks such as drowning deaths for kids, toddlers, seniors, people with disabilities and seizures, pets, and animals. With the help of cleverly programmed Arduino, sensors, and mechanical structures, the present paper describes a multilayered approach to assist drowning victims under a variety of circumstances. By incorporating body weight, motion characteristics, available smart sensors, and natural gravity, successfully built a prototype with an added novel algorithm. Through this process, drowning accidents can be minimized to a great extent, so that optimally, there will be no drowning accidents.
