Abstract

The study focuses on the impact of  critical quality factor's on the ISO certified and non - certified construction industries of karnataka. The ISO is a quality standard which is adopted by majority of construction industries. ISO concentrates mainly on the critical quality factor's. Hence it is needed to study the impact of critical quality factor's on the ISO certified and non - certified industries. The questionnaire's were prepared concentrating the ISO and critical factor's . The questionnaire's were distributed and the responses were collected, data analysis performed using SPSS software. It is concluded that there exists a marginal difference  between the ISO certified and non certified industries on implementing the ISO standards.  It is observed that the mean scores of all the attributes are lies between the 3 and 4 for both type of firms. Hence it is concluded that  the agreement level lies between the undecided and weakly agree as per the perception of the respondents was concern.
