Abstract

This paper presents numerical and experimental analysis of stresses for non-metal membrane subjected to uniform pressure. Simulation part of this work achieved by using the engineering software of the finite element package ANSYS (V.18.2). The experimental work has been done by using the system consist of vessel, compressor, pressure gage and the surface gage for reading deflection. The pressure used was the static pressure in order to compare some of the simulation results. The comparison showed a good agreement between them
