Abstract

The purpose of this study is to better understand how young adults react to violence reports against women. The study surveyed young adults. Children and adolescents may have varying sentiments and attitudes concerning crime news involving women, which can have a harmful impact on their daily lives. The overall goal is to examine the precise emotions experienced by young adults when they perceive crime reports against women. The study used a descriptive research design and a quantitative methodology. The study was done among normal graduate students of engineering in Kerala. The study documented the government's lack of accountability and young adults' outrage at the system as a whole. According to the study's findings, there is a considerable association between how young persons perceive crime reports and their anxiousness. This study could be expanded in the future to examine parents' feelings when they perceive crime reports against women.
