A real time CRATM cognitive radio system to for wireless sensor nodes
Abstract
In the cognitive radio (CR) field, there is currently no standard end-user research technique that is repeatable, scalable, and dependable across multiple CR systems. Furthermore, the CR industry lacks a device-independent architecture that allows full system testing rather than just individual components. This research introduces the Cognitive Radio Research Technique (CRATM), a CR test methodology, to answer these problems. CRATM recommends monitoring the success of both the principal user (PU) and secondary user (SU) in behavior-based evaluation to assess cognition (i.e., the CR under test). Behavior-based research findings are gathered and assessed.
