Localization and Minimization of Power Consumption of Sensory Nodes Deployed in Hazardous Chemical Plume Areas
Abstract
A wireless sensor network consists of a large number of sensors, which is used to congregate the data from different environments, by using its limited battery backup. These sensor networks are thus concerned with the target tracking, monitoring, and so on especially in those areas which are difficult to reach. This paper deals with the design challenges in sensor networks, in which the location discovery at the sensor nodes will be addressed by estimating the direction of RF (Radio frequency) signals from a cluster head and also provides an idea for generating a unique number for each sensor node which deals with identification of nodes in the network and utilizing this unique identity in solving energy consumption problem.
