A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ASSOCIATION RULE MINING ALGORITHMS OF DATA MINING

Abstract

Association rules mining (ARM) is one of the most useful techniques in the field of knowledge discovery and data mining and so on. The paper shows the result analysis of the research undertaken which includes Experiments, and its analysis to come to conclusion. The research is conducted by conducting different experiments to compare the efficiency of various algorithm of association rule mining in terms of various parameters like Size of Dataset Number of Transaction Type of dataset Minimum Support (Lower) Minimum Support (Upper) Minimum Confidence Number of Database Scans/Cycles Performed .This paper also shows the proposed system architecture using Map reduce with HDFS framework.
