Enhancement of Performance 3-D Video Transmission over combined MIMO-OFDMA Techniques.
Abstract
In this paper, has been inspecting the problem of video quality clarity observed while transmitting three dimensional video contents transmission from the base station to the users in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) networks. Assuring clarity in 3-D video of final quality is a cross-layer optimizing issue where it is necessary amongst users and is done by optimizing the resources in the physical layer. Where the video quality is assigned to users in accordance to the demand via unequal error protection (UEP) for the users depending on priorities of the physical-layer. UEP can be achieved based on conditions of sub-carriers assigned for each user (sequence). Sub-carriers divided in to two strategies the high quality (HQ) and low quality (LQ), where Video streams with high significant data (color) will be transmitted over HQ sub-carriers, low significant data (depth) are transmitted over LQ sub-carriers, whereas each HQ or LQ sub-carriers uses square 16-QAM constellation. Comprehensive simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method provides considerably higher protection of 3-D video quality and spectral efficiency at moderate – to- high SNR levels.
