Abstract

Plenty of procedures and methods are introduced on the basis of modular arithmetic cryptography towards DNA cryptosystems. These methodologies are decomposed using various techniques of DNA cryptography. DNA Cryptosystem is a new intuitive cryptographic area which became popular with the research of DNA computing. We demonstrate a novel, safe and exclusive DNA cryptosystem algorithm along with its performance analysis. Genetic algorithm is one of the possible ways to break the limit of brute-force method in DNA computing. The key point here is to improve the DNA cryptosystems along with the combination of genetic operators. The proposed algorithm is based on operators used in Genetic Algorithms (GA), together with the encryption and decryption of data. This paper demonstrates the DNA cryptosystem technology used with DNA computing. The technique generates a random one-time-pad key, used in the process of DNA encryption which is further embedded into the encrypted data. The unique decryption method will break open the key from the encrypted data and finally outputs the decrypted data. This system promises high security and ensures a very low or no scope for re-identification of the original information.
