Abstract

A fuzzy logic controlled switched capacitor (SC) based inverter using photo-voltaic (PV) array input power source and produce a sinusoidal wave in the result is implemented on MATLAB Simulink in this paper. The objective of the paper is to design a topology that takes the maximum power point (MPP) tracking of the PV source, generate switching pulse using fuzzy logic controller, boost the input d. c. voltage and generate a regulated a. c.  output in a single stage configuration with scope for grid connected application. The latest research trends work on PV arrays with a switched capacitor for its better reliability and better charging capacity. The switching capacitor circuit controlled by fuzzy logic controller is realized with multiple identical SC blocks. This model employing a DC boost and inverter in a single stage with the help of a switched-capacitor gate circuit. The control system earlier used had a higher THD response which was in need to be improved.

The purpose of worry of Switched-Capacitor DC to DC converters are proficiency 95 percent safe working situations for an expansive scope of burdens, sensibility for enormous scope creation and value adequacy, unpleasantness and compactness because of the lack of engaging segments, simple hot administration by heat control gadgets, and a wide range of yield control, extending over a kilowatt yield control from a couple of milliwatts for control responses. SC (Switched Capacitor) controls are not constrained to demands for DC to DC.

The introduced work exhibits a solitary topology where upgrade, boosting of DC and its reversal is done in a solitary square in this way expanding its effectiveness. To understand the interdependence of various invertor parameters on each other Simulink model is designed and detailed study state analysis is done. To observe the performance of proposed fuzzy logic controller based MPP tracking single stage SC invertor a software program in MATLAB simulator that operates from a 60 V/ 70 W PV module and delivers a 100 r.m.s., 50 Hz output is simulated.[1]

The THD is decreased in the proposed framework which is under 1%.
