Abstract

Recently, the mechanism of authentication for the transaction system is yet complex. The recent system of tax operates as a centralized server. Thus, there are huge chances of attacks from intruders. For an efficient tax system, the exchange of information among the tax administration is a significant factor. So, to communicate between the various users and to improve the transparency of the tax system, the use of blockchain methodology was introduced for the tax systems. Blockchain technology has special benefits and it is used in several fields and the tax system is no exception. The utilization of blockchain methodology in the area of the tax system is comparatively unique and is not broadly employed till now. Anyhow, the blockchain methodology in the area of tax systems faces some constraints while considering the security and privacy factors. Several attacks focus on the blockchain networks namely consensus attack, delay attack, Sybil attack, etc. In our work, we target the Sybil attacks that create multiple fake identities in the system data. Hence, in this paper, we proposed novel data encryption and decryption algorithm with blockchain technology for securely transferring GST data. Initially, the GST data is preprocessed and authenticated using blockchain Smart Contract (SC). We proposed an Enhanced Iterative Honeypot Algorithm (EIHA) for data encryption and decryption, which can enhance the deception proficiency of the conventional honeypot by generating repeated keys for the data and by using honeytoken. Further, Blockchain Trust Model (BTM) is used for predicting the malicious nodes during the data transfer between the blockchain networks. The performance of the proposed system is analyzed by comparing it with various existing encryption algorithms in terms of security level and execution time. Our proposed method proves to be better than the existing methods.
