PATIENT’S PREFERENCE TOWARDS PRIVATE MULTISPECIALTY HOSPITALS IN MADURAI CITY

Abstract

The healthcare industry is integration and mix of sectors within the economic framework of the country that not only provides counseling but also treats patients through its prevention, diagnostic, and rehabilitation services. This includes the age and the marketing of products and efforts owed to them to maintain and restore well-being. The modern medical field consists of three basic branches: finance, products, and services. These are further segregated into several categories and sectors which depend on the trained professionals to meet people's health needs. Therefore, this study is proposed to find the patient’s preference for selecting private multispecialty hospitals in Madurai City.  Also, this study investigates the important factors for playing an important role in patient's perception of private hospitals. Finally, this study found that quality of service and patients’ satisfaction are the important factors for selecting private hospitals.
