Abstract

Human society has always been a part of nature. This relationship has weakened over the past few decades. Because of this, global warming is becoming a critical problem with global dimensions. Biophilia can be an idea through which we can reconnect with nature. Therefore, biophilic design is being used in building construction so that human beings can be more and more in contact with nature. This study seeks to establish Biophilia as a contemporary idea and also highlights it as an important need of today and it should be used in building construction. This study focuses on the idea of ​​how this concept is extremely important for the buildings and practical studios of Visual Arts Institutions; on how it can develop a positive environment for students pursuing education in this mode. The study also analyzes the infrastructure of some of India's important Visual Arts academic institutions in the context of Biophilia and depicts their time relative up-gradation. The qualitative methods have been utilized to examine and interpret the cases / instances of Fine Art educational organizations in India.
