Abstract

In this article, Image Segmentation is used to identify pure breeding paddy seed in a non-destructive manner. Paddy form and colour should be essential in agricultural breeding and testing of quality. Since the grains have a similar surface color, farmers have a difficult time identifying paddy seeds. This paper describes an automated classification system that uses Contextual clustering in image segmentation and CMAC neural networkto classify the paddy. The Contextual clustering is used in the different paddy images for image segmentation for better paddy breed classification, and CMAC neural network is used with Contextual clusteringimage segmentation for getting better accuracy in paddy breed classification of above 93%.
