Abstract

The plug-in hybrid electric vehicle gaining more interest for better fuel economy and high performance. Using the multiple Propulsion component, it can drive for long range and high speed. However, the energy loss is significant level in PHEV. This article describes type of energy source and optimizing technique for better energy management. Through modern intelligent transport system, the performance of PHEV is improved in better level. The energy optimization of hybrid electric vehicle was simulated and verified in MATLAB.
