Abstract

India is one of the largest growing country in the world. As the country is growing, we are moving towards many environmental problems to. water pollution is one of major problem faced by India today. As India grows and urbanizes, its water bodies are getting toxic. It stated that around 70% surface water in India is not safe for consumption. Every day, almost 40 million liters of wastewater enters in rivers and other water bodies. The largest source of water pollution is untreated sewage. The other sources of pollution include agricultural runoff and unregulated small-scale industry, chemical waste. Most of the rivers, lakes, ponds and surface water in India are affected due to untreated water from industries. Apart from that the water is also get polluted due to public interference like doing Ganesh visarjan, Navratri and by daily waste like plastic, floating debris are dumping into and nearby water bodies. As this type of structure made up of POP and other chemicals its harmful for aquatic animals and human beings to, as this water is used for irrigation and drinking purpose.Water is basic need for all the living beings. For a healthy life we need a healthy water. We all humans, animals, plants can’t live without water, hence it is necessary take this problem seriously and take initiative to overcome this situation. Government of India organize many programs under this. The central pollution control board, a ministry of environment & forests Government of India entity, has established a national water quality monitoring network comprising 1429 monitoring station in 28 states and 6 in union territories on various rivers and water bodies across the country.By looking at the current situations of our rivers which are polluted and filled with crore liter of sewage and toxic pollutants, debris we are trying to help government in overcoming this situation by designing our project named as “RIVER TRASH CLEANING BOT”. This bot is designed specially for cleaning purpose of water bodies it can collect all floating materials, waste etc. As the normal method used for cleaning rivers requires human labors which is a bit slow process but, in our project, it is completely automatic and remote operated
