Abstract

Due to COVID 19, Education is moved online and teaching online is verystrenuous from a physical classroom. Monotonous teachers don’t have any control on students. In the physical classroom there are 50 to 60 kids. Now that we are gone remote it becomes difficult to make sure every Student is paying attention or not. It would be very nice if there would be a tool whereby, we can gauge the attentiveness of every student so that it would be satisfactory in delivering the content. For The past decade, video conferencing (VC) has become more popular and more reliable as a tool to bridge the distance gap when travel is not an option, impractical or undesired.  So, our project, Student Welfare, an Application and a Faculty Portal, is about a way of teaching in which the teacher can host the meeting and fill out the questions to be popped-up during the class. Our App ‘Teacher Buddy’ will ask questions to students based on their attention span. Teacher Dashboards can track the responsiveness and accuracy of the response.

This dashboard gives information about the numbers of students attending the session, the attentiveness of the student and the effectiveness of teaching. This attentiveness percentage is captured based on response provided by students to the questions appearing on their screen and the effectiveness indicates whether the response given by student was accurate or not.
