Abstract

In this research paper, the image feature synthesis & matching in CBIR system for improving retrieval performance using block contour method is presented along with the simulation results carried out in the Matlab environment. The results show the efficacy of the methodology that is being developed. In the following paragraphs, the background work relating to the development of the high computational algorithm development is presented. The brief in-depth step by step approach for achieving this goal is depicted in the future paragraphs. The contributory work developed in this paper discusses about the RGB histogram & block contour concepts which were used to extract the different features of the images and to carry out the performance of the retrieval systems. The simulation results show the efficiency of the methodology that is being developed here.
