Abstract

The automotive industry is one of the key contributors to the national economic development of Vietnam with its contribution to GDP accounts for around 3%. Thus, automotive industry always gets the special attention and treatment from the government. This is also the reason makes this industry become more and more competitive. Nowadays, car brands have introduced new cars models in the market at an impressive rate with new features to attract customer attention and intention to purchase. The number of cars sold has kept increasing. However, customer favour has changed significantly. Therefore, it is very essential to know the demand and need of consumers. This study proposed the integrated model which will deal with automotive brand selection. The hybrid model constitutes AHP and TOPSIS techniques as either AHP or TOPSIS is one of the best MCDM techniques for decision-making problem.
