Abstract

Satisfaction of the customer influenced by many variables, such as quality, customer service, price, availableness and so on. Identification of crucial technical requirements for the development of product is very important. For developing a product with high customer satisfaction a customer directed tool called Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is systematically applied. In automobile braking system, the purpose of the Air Dryer (AD) using an Unloader Valve (UV), a Purge Tank (PT) besides a Quadruple System Protection Valve (QSPV) combined in Drying and Distribution Unit (DDU). Hence in this context, critical technical requirements of DDU is identified in order to satisfy customer requirements. House of Quality (H o Q) is the important phase in QFD methodology, which is adopted with converting the Voice of Customer (V o C) interested in stakeholder’s technical wants. In this manuscript, HoQ is combined with Analytical Network Process (ANP) to prioritize the technical attributes of the braking system of automobiles.
