Assessment of Organizational Commitment in Air Traffic Controllers of Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand

Abstract

Reputation and strategy are vital to the success of aviation business. Due to economic and socio-political aviation is sensitive.Country has seen a noticeable growth over the past decade.This research is based on specific cases of air traffic controllers. Workplace focuses on issues related to organizational psychology, such as job satisfaction, job control, and commitment of the organization. Job satisfaction is a key concept in work and organizational psychology.The aim of this study was to assess the influence of job satisfaction and job control on commitment in the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT). It was derived from a review of existing literature and data collection through an applied questionnaire survey. Therefore, the results apply to CAAT air traffic controllers using quantitative methods to investigate the problem.This was carried out from a selected sample of CAAT air traffic controllers.81 respondents returned the questionnaire. Which are used for analytical purposes the results of the study indicated that Job satisfaction and job control have a positive effect on organizational commitment.Air traffic controllers with a high level of job satisfaction and job control have a high level of organizational commitment.
