SURVIVAL STUDY ON FACE RECOGNITION BASED ON POSE, AGE AND OCCLUSION

Abstract

Biometrics is employed in computer science for identification and access control process. A biometric system is termed as recognition scheme for individualdetection through determining the authenticity of behavioral attributeowned by user. Biometric authentication is the method of identifying the human with help of their features. Face is used as an essential biometric to identify the people. Face recognition (FR) has large considerationbecause of the development in biometric recognition. But, the face recognition performance was not improved with many challenging conditions like occlusion, pose variations, makeup and age gap. Many existing studies were reviewed in this paper to address the face recognition problems.
