Law Enforcement Awareness Dilemma and Psychological Adjustment of Environmental Law Enforcement Officials in China

Abstract

The term environmental law enforcement awareness refers to the regularity of the psychological activities of environmental law enforcement officials when they enforce the law. Environmental law enforcement is a cross between environment and law, and environmental law enforcement awareness mainly relates to the facts, essence, mechanisms, and regularity of environmental law enforcement awareness (or psychologic) phenomena. This paper analyzes environmental law enforcement awareness (or psychology) problems environmental law enforcement officials face at both theoretical and practical levels. Moreover, theories related to the environmental law enforcement awareness of environmental law enforcement officials are elaborated, and the factors influencing their environmental law enforcement awareness are explored. On this basis, targeted suggestions are provided on the approaches and specific strategies for improving the law enforcement awareness of environmental law enforcement officials, as well as on how to enhance the law enforcement awareness of environmental law enforcement officials in China.
