Abstract

Countries are interested increasingly in exploring the optimal use of resources depending on varied strategic paths, especially about the methods of waste utilizing. Most previous studies of solid waste recycling (SWR) focused on the industrial aspect, with lower interestin the enhancing behavior of individuals towards SWR. So, scientific literature still needs more studies to discuss how to make society’s persons loyal to the practices of SWR. The Saudi Vision-2030 has accompanied this global trend through its objective of "responsible citizenship towards the environment resources", but the recent outcomes are still not enough to meet contemporary economic challenges and crises. This paper aims to present a comparative study among the individuals of Saudi society according to human generation, gender, and education level in terms of enhancing behavioral loyalty (EBL) towards SWR. The applied part of this study is based on an e-questionnaire, and data was collected from 678 participants, then it was analyzed by SPSS-v21.  The significant impact was supported for both age and gender, while not for education level. The paper proposes a set of recommendations based on its results and suggests more future interdisciplinary research to study additional variables through cross-cultures studies.
