Abstract

The popularization of intelligent devices drives the application and development of the technology of Internet of Things, the mass data therewith generated by which brings several challenges to traditional centralized data management, e.g. challenges for performance, privacy and safety. Thus, a kind of data management structure for the Internet of Things is put forward based on block chain and edge computing to support data management of distributed Internet of Things, which can provide distributed storage and access control for the data of Internet of Things. Meanwhile a kind of built-in encrypted scheme is designed to protect the safety and privacy of data, whose ownership is also guaranteed. Through the introduction of edge computing, the bottleneck problem of the extendibility of the block chain system is solved. The data storage and access flow based on this structure is given, and the systematic implementation algorithm based on intelligent contract technology is explained in detail. It is indicated by the experimental result that compared with traditional data management systems based on cloud, data management systems for Internet of Things based on this structure have a better performance.
