The Influence Mechanism of Product Configuration Update Design Based on RS-ISM: A Customer Preference Perspective

Abstract

In order to make the product configuration design scheme better meet the customer demand preference, we proposed a method of product configuration update design influence mechanism based on Rough Set (RS) and Interpretative Structural Model(ISM) from the perspective of customer preference. Through interviews, questionnaires and field investigation, the customer demand characteristics are acquired, and the influence factors set is constructed, which lays the foundation for effective identification of key factors. For the problems of numerous influence factors and large amount of data, a factor reduction method based on Rough Set theory is established. Then, An Interpretative Structural Modelling (ISM) method is applied to classify the important influence factors and identify key factors. Finally, a realcase is given to prove the scientificity, reasonability and availability of proposed method.
