Study on the Influence of Transportation Infrastructure on the Growth Space Difference of Logistics Industry and Threshold Effect——Based on Empirical Analysis of Yangtze River Economic Belt

Abstract

This paper studies the influence of transportation infrastructure on the growth space difference of logistics industry in The Yangtze River Economic Belt and the threshold effect using the provincial panel data and spatial econometrics method. The results show that there exists spatial imbalance in the growth of logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the spatial difference has experienced a process from gradually expanding to gradually narrowing and becoming stable; the transportation infrastructure has a significant spatial spillover effect on the growth of logistics industry in geographically and economically neighboring areas; taking a single threshold value as the demarcation point, the influence of transportation infrastructure on the growth of logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has experienced the change from marginal returns progressive increase to decrease.
